Let’s talk carpet

Here at Stroud Home Bay of Plenty, we’d like to offer our clients a wide variety of options when it comes to features, appliances, and other inclusions for their new home.

We always make sure what we offer is of the highest quality you can get on the market.

When talking carpet for your new home, we offer a 55 ounce carpet as a standard to all our new builds along with an 11mm underlay to all bedrooms and main living areas.

Our offering includes a wide selection of Synthetic Solution Dyed Nylon (SDN) carpets in many colours so there will be no problem finding something that will suit your personal taste.

Here are a few reasons why we offer a SDN carpet over and above a wool carpet:

Cost-effective

SDN carpet is a more cost-effective option, but it doesn’t mean it’s less superior on functionality.

In fact, it’s quite the opposite, technology has worked wonders over the years to ensure that a man-made option stands up to the test of time.

First rate fade resistance

Through the dying process, rather than just dying the outside of the fibre, the fibre throughout is penetrated.

This means it will stand up to fading much longer than other fibres.

Outstanding stain resistance

Synthetic fibres offer the best protection against stains and is often the draw card when people come to choosing carpets as they have a much more superior stain resistant quality.

Have pets and kids? No worries!

Rest assured a synthetic carpet will withstand ALL the things that come with a full house, the kids and pets won’t destroy your flooring in your brand new home.

Surprisingly soft

Just like technology has worked its magic on the fade and stain resistance it’s also helped in the respect of look and feel, and you can now most definitely experience a similar luxury to wool underfoot.

Through your Colour and Product Consultation we will work through all the options available and help you find the best option to suit your needs.
