Location: Remote/Hybrid/Boonah Head Office with travel to franchise locations as needed throughout AUS and NZ.

Overview:

Stroud Homes is seeking a dynamic, proactive Sales Growth & Development Manager to drive performance across our franchise network. This role is instrumental in building high-performing sales teams, recruiting top-tier talent, improving sales capability, and supporting franchisees in growing their local businesses.

You’ll be working directly with franchise owners and their sales teams, providing leadership across recruitment, training, CRM usage, and local marketing initiatives. This role is both strategic and hands-on: designed for a strong operator who thrives on accountability, action, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Team Growth & Recruitment
    • Expand sales capacity across the network through strategic hiring and onboarding.
    • Lead engaging “Career Info” Zoom sessions to attract high-quality Sales Partner candidates.
    • Support franchisees through the recruitment, selection, and induction process.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of sales talent.
  1. Sales Consultant Training & Development
    • Implement and manage Stroud’s online sales training program across all franchises.
    • Deliver targeted coaching and training to boost sales performance.
    • Organize workshops or live sessions to reinforce core sales capabilities (opening, closing, objection handling).
    • Monitor individual and team performance for continuous improvement.
  1. Talent Acquisition (Head-Hunting)
    • Identify and recruit high-performing or high-potential sales professionals across different markets.
    • Position the Stroud SP opportunity competitively to attract top talent from within and outside the building industry.
    • Collaborate with franchisees to strategically place new hires where they can have the most impact. 
  1. CRM (Pipedrive) Management & Accountability
    • Ensure all sales teams are effectively using Pipedrive to manage leads and sales pipelines.
    • Provide coaching and accountability around activity tracking, follow-ups, and deal progression.
    • Work with Head Office insights to identify and correct performance gaps.
  1. Local Marketing & Lead Generation
    • Collaborate with franchisees to develop localized marketing strategies.
    • Improve quantity and quality of house and land package listings.
    • Support prospecting efforts with real estate agents and other lead channels.
    • Promote a proactive sales culture where salespeople consistently generate and pursue new leads. 
  1. Performance Reporting & Sales Pipeline Oversight
    • Use internal reporting tools to track and analyse franchise performance.
    • Monitor leads, deposits, and contracts to ensure sales pipelines remain healthy.
    • Provide regular performance reviews and support to drive conversions and reduce stagnation.
  1. Franchise Growth & Support for Underperforming Regions
    • Identify and activate growth potential in underperforming but operational franchises.
    • Help onboard new salespeople and implement proven strategies from high-performing regions (e.g., Wide Bay).
    • Overcome regional mindset limitations and unify franchise performance standards across all locations. 

About You:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, sales recruitment, or franchise development (preferably in real estate, construction, or B2C industries).
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (Pipedrive experience preferred).
  • Confident presenter and communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on coach with a results-oriented, no-excuses mindset.
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and supporting decentralised teams.
  • Able to travel as needed to support franchise growth and team development.
