Stroud Auckland North have been wonderful throughout the build process of my house. I found them honest and transparent, and very accommodating with my changing needs and some tricky situations. The only problems I had were related to the inevitable council and weather delays, and they went the extra mile to circumvent these, and make the build process smooth. They even pre-empted an oversight by the council, so that it didn’t adversely affect me down the line. They were always available to address any questions or concerns, d anI would recommend them unreservedly.

Stroud Homes Auckland South completed a home in late 2023 for us. Craig and his team including Ina were superb all the way through the construction phase through completion and handover.

They were highly engaging, displayed great knowledge and above all, were really pragmatic with their knowledge and suggestions. A timeline was agreed and the full build was within the period that was agreed at the start of the process.

Regular weekly communication was another feature of the service. This was both via email and over the phone with Craig.
The commitment to see the build through was most welcome, particularly when there were weather challenges.

Michael, Tilda and the Stroud Homes’ team at Warkworth have been exceptionally helpful in working with us to explore the option of building a home. They have gone the extra mile in terms of listening to our wants and needs and finding options to meet these within a fixed budget.

They have been patient in finding, providing and interpreting information and drawing draft plans for us. What stands out in particular for us, is their honesty and ethical professional behaviour at all times. We have never felt pushed or pressured and would highly recommend them if you are considering building.

In 2023 Stroud Homes Auckland South built two homes for us on one property, a family home and a minor dwelling being 65 square metres.
They guided us through the process with amazing knowledge, advice and patience as we had never built anything before.

Like most people building at this time we were on a strict budget with no wriggle room, we had met with several builders and Stroud Homes was our last stop. From day 1 Jamie and Indy have been so dedicated as to what Greg and I wanted in our new house at Amberley. If it wasn’t for our daughter Karen talking us into going with Stroud Homes we may have missed out and gone with – dare I say it – a company less flexible. Having engaged with a range of building companies prior to visiting Stroud and being given the impression that our budget would only enable us to build a fairly standard spec house, when we met with Eddie and the Team from Stroud they had a different approach from the outset.

Rather than asking us what our budget was straight away, he focused on what we needed and wanted. Mike and Eddie then visited the site and as a result of that visit and understanding our requirements and budget constraints Eddie suggested we go down the route of a bespoke build.

We never thought we would be able to work with an architect and plan our house from the ground up. From design through to choosing the fixtures and fittings the team at Stroud have been there to support and guide us through this journey every step of the way.
